Alisa Thorne, MD

ALISA THORNE, MD, is Director of Ambulatory Anesthesiology and Vice-Chair for Regulatory Affairs at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College. She attended Yale College followed by Harvard Medical School and completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Thorne  joined the Anesthesiology Department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the faculty of the Cornell University Medical College in 1986. Her past board directorships have included: Peer Health Exchange, TheatreworksUSA, and The Grenfell Association of America. She is the current Governance Committee Chair and a Board Director for Music For Autism.
